Day 8 – May 28: Youth and Cultural Diversity

Young people are the rock on which a more inclusive and inter-culturally competent society will be built. Parents and schools must continue to teach children that we are different yet one; that hostility against people from another race, tribe, nationality, religion or status is not cool at all.

Already, some of our young people are demonstrating early leadership in serving their communities and embracing diversity. Ireland can be at the fore of an inter-cultural and inclusive Europe.

  • Join us in a series of youth-inspired cultural diversity activities
  • Attend a debate, a talk, a workshop, or other diversity-themed event at a school, college, youth centre, etc
